Anastasia Reshetnikova

I close the gap between what your customers need and what your business needs to hit.

Growth Product Manager with a track record of moving from content strategy into B2B SaaS product growth. Led the full cycle of customer discovery, A/B testing, and funnel optimization behind a 15 to 20% drop in onboarding friction, and I turn user insight and data into roadmaps and dashboards stakeholders actually use.

My background is Psychology and a Master's in Language Policy, sociolinguistics in practice. That combination is what lets me catch what people want, how they act under pressure, and which words actually move them, before any of it turns into a guess dressed up as a feature request.

Your problem, that's how I solve it.

What I'd do
I check the process, build a hypothesis, and pick the metrics that would prove or disprove it. That's how I found a post-demo follow-up gap in a client's funnel: once we fixed the sequence, trial-stage churn dropped 18%.

The problem
"We're moving on gut feeling. We don't really know what our customers need."

What I'd do
I'd run JTBD or CustDev interviews to find out why customers actually choose us. My academic background is Psychology, and I use it to catch what users mean, not just what they say, before it becomes a feature request. That habit is what cut onboarding drop-off by 15 to 20% in my current role.

The problem
"We need someone who can keep a big pipeline consistent, not just launch it once."
Tap to check →
What I'd do
One of my strengths is fixing the workflow itself. I group similar tasks and automate what's actually worth automating, not just because everyone else does it. That discipline is how I've held 35 to 60% funnel conversion across 100+ sourced contributors a month.

The problem
"Users sign up, then disappear before they get value."
Tap to check →
What I'd do
I'd start with the metrics and the customer journey map to find exactly where people drop, not guess at it. That's the exact approach that cut onboarding drop-off 15 to 20% in my current growth role.
← tap to flip back
The problem
"Our sales conversations aren't converting."
Tap to check →
What I'd do
I hold a Master's in Language Policy, sociolinguistics, so I know why certain words move people and others fall flat. I used that to rewrite client sales scripts based on CustDev insights: average deal close rate up 22% across consulting clients.

The problem
"We're hiring across English and Russian-speaking markets."
Tap to check →
What I'd do
Russian native, English C1, and a Master's in Language Policy behind both. I move between the two without losing nuance, and I've localized content that lifted client conversion by up to 20% in Russian-speaking markets.

The problem
"Onboarding looks fine on paper, but real users still get stuck."
Tap to check →
What I'd do
I don't redesign onboarding from a whiteboard. I run weekly user conversations first, find exactly where people get stuck, then fix that one step. Result: drop-off down 15 to 20%.

The problem
"We want someone who can actually use AI, not just talk about it."
Tap to check →
What I'd do
I do structured prompt engineering and build my own custom AI tools instead of waiting on engineering. Built an AI-powered content ideation tool that cut editorial planning time by 40%.

Why the degrees actually matter here

I take technical courses online too.
Here's why my actual degree still matters for this role.

BA, Psychology

PSLU

Where the read on motivation and decision-making comes from, useful every time a user says one thing and does another.

MA, Language Policy

Higher School of Economics

Sociolinguistics in practice: why certain words convert and others don't, applied directly to scripts, onboarding copy, and UX writing.

Negotiation Fundamentals

ESSEC

Used directly in client negotiations and stakeholder pushback, not left behind as a course certificate.

Social Psychology

Wesleyan University

Group dynamics, not just individual behavior, which matters the moment a product has a team or a community around it.

How I actually work

The loop I run on every problem, and what I do when I'm not running it.

01
DiscoverTalk to users directly. Weekly, not quarterly.
02
HypothesizeWrite down what I think is true and what would prove me wrong.
03
TestA/B test it, don't argue about it in a meeting.
04
MeasureDashboard it, so the result is visible to everyone, not just me.
05
Ship or killPrioritize with RICE, ICE, or MoSCoW depending on what the decision actually needs, then move.

Side quests that turned out useful

Guild leadership. Ran an MMORPG guild of 100+ players, including recruitment. A/B tested invitation scripts there before I ever did it for a real acquisition funnel.
Strategy and management games. Cafe builders and management sims are workflow optimization with better graphics, resource allocation, bottleneck spotting, sequencing under constraints. I keep my brain sharp and search for unexpected inspiration there.
Chinese calligraphy. Slower, more deliberate thinking, the opposite of a growth dashboard, and it keeps the fast stuff sharper.
Excel sheets. I gather data even for daily purposes to check how I can fix problems and get more efficient. Already mastered this skill.

I ran a SWOT on myself

Same framework I'd use on a product. Turned it on my own candidacy first.

Strengths

▷ CustDev or JTBD-led decision making
▷ Proven funnel metrics:
▷ 15–20% drop-off ↓, 20% response rate ↑
▷ AI tool fluency: prompt engineering, Claude skills creation — 40% time saved
▷ Full-stack PM: strategy → execution → stakeholder reporting
▷ Multilingual & cross-cultural communication (EN/RU/FR)

Weaknesses

▷ French at A2 — reduces scope in French-market roles
▷ Psychology + Linguistics background is non-technical

Opportunities

▷ High demand for CustDev-fluent PMs in seed and mature SaaS globally
▷ Remote-first market removes geographic friction
▷ AI-native PM positioning is a differentiator in 2025–26 hiring cycles
▷ B2B SaaS growth roles are undersupplied with PMs who also run experiments

Threats

▷ Saturated PM market
▷ Some ATS filters for specific tool keywords
▷ Non-EU base may add complexity for some EU companies

Work experience

Titles, in order, with what actually moved.
